We at Ukrgrafit, together with the company’s trade union committee, Occupational Health and Safety Department, and UK-MED specialists, held a series of first aid training sessions for employees this June.
In total, eight sessions were delivered by experienced UK-MED instructors who specialize in preparing both members of the public and industrial personnel to respond effectively in emergency situations.
During the training, participants learned the fundamental principles of providing first aid before professional medical help arrives. Particular emphasis was placed on assessing a casualty’s condition, making an effective emergency call, performing CPR, and controlling life-threatening bleeding using tourniquets and other modern first aid equipment. Participants also practiced responding to injuries and other medical emergencies.
The practical component of the training was designed to closely reflect real-life scenarios. Employees developed hands-on skills using mannequins and professional training equipment, practicing situations that could arise both in the workplace and in everyday life.
We believe that training of this kind is an essential part of fostering a strong safety culture across the company. It gives our employees the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to respond quickly and effectively when every second counts. At Ukrgrafit, we remain committed to strengthening occupational health and safety, protecting the well-being of our employees, and continuously improving our team’s readiness to respond to emergency situations.
